Download the extension
geniusx-extension-0.1.0.zip — about 90 KB.

Unzip it
Locate the downloaded file and unzip it. You should get a folder containing manifest.json and some assets. Keep this folder somewhere stable — deleting it later will uninstall the extension.

Open Chrome extensions
In Chrome, paste this into the address bar and hit Enter:chrome://extensions/

Enable Developer mode
Toggle Developer mode ON in the top-right of the extensions page.

Load unpacked
Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder from step 2. The GeniusX icon appears in your toolbar — pin it via the puzzle icon for easy access.

Open x.com
Open x.com in any tab and click the GeniusX icon. Type your target topic and the loop starts. You'll see your first follow within a few minutes — the popup shows live progress.

Is this against X's rules?+

X's terms restrict automation. We've designed GeniusX to mimic a real user as closely as possible: human-paced jitter (90-240 seconds between follows), conservative daily caps (20/day free, 30-400/day paid), and back-off when X rate-limits. We've never had an account suspended in 6 months of internal testing. That said: anyone running an automation tool is taking on some risk — use a non-critical account if you're worried.

Do you see my X password or cookies?+

No. The extension's content script runs inside x.com after you're already logged in via your normal browser session. We never read or store your password, login cookies, or auth tokens. Full details in the privacy policy.

What happens to people who don't follow back?+

After 3 days, the smart unfollow worker checks each account we followed. If they're following you back, they're left alone. If not, we unfollow them — keeping your follower-to-following ratio clean. Your pre-existing followings are never touched.

Can I run it on multiple X accounts?+

Free tier supports one X account (whichever you're logged into in the browser). Pro lifts this — you can run separate growth campaigns on multiple X accounts in parallel.

How is this different from your Telegram bot?+

Same engine, different harness. The Telegram bot (GeniusX Follow) does server-side automation using a cookie-based session you grant. The Chrome extension uses your own browser, so there's no cookie-harvesting + no server-side automation risk. We recommend the extension for most users.

What if Google rejects the Chrome Web Store listing?+

Our submission is in standard review and follows all of Google's guidelines (Manifest V3, narrow permissions, clear privacy policy). If they push back, we iterate and resubmit — meanwhile, the sideload install above keeps working. You'll never lose access to a paid subscription because of store status.
